Crazy Climb is a lot of fun. It has lots of different climbs available. The staff are kind and encouraging I would recommend it for families.

Ready to take the next step…….

Outdoors can be a much more challenging environment than the climbing wall which can make it seem quite daunting to someone who has not done it before. North Wales mountains, crags and sea cliffs offer some world-class venues for rock climbing, scrambling and mountaineering.

Want to learn how to climb but not sure where to start?  Need essential advice on how to improve your climbing skills? Deep in the mountains of North Wales, Plas y Brenin is a unique place, run by outdoor enthusiasts for outdoor enthusiasts. Based in the heart of North Wales’ Snowdonia, Pals Y Brenin is surrounded by some of the finest rock climbing routes in Britain, from the towering sea cliffs of Gogarth and exposed mountain crags of Cwm Silyn to the inviting slabs of Cwm Idwal and Tremadog.

There’s even a choice of rock-to-rock climb on too with limestone, rhyolite, quartzite, dolerite and slate all within easy reach.

This unique position in North Wales and the Snowdonia national park not only provides great variety and flexibility allowing adaptability with course location and content to suit both the weather pattern and your ability.

Re-charge your batteries at the coast, or enjoy some vigorous exercise in the mountains. Just two of the many reasons to book a holiday cottage with Coastal Holidays.

The Snowdonia National Park covers most of the region and is an absolute feast for the eyes – a dazzling showcase of rugged mountains, magnificent estuaries and breath-taking coastline. Against this backdrop of outstanding natural beauty, you’ll discover charming towns and sleepy villages; imposing, historic castles (most notably, Harlech, Conwy and Caernarfon); plus a wealth of attractions for every age and taste.

Enjoy the ‘great outdoors’, with a huge range of adventure sports from scaling Mount Snowdon and daredevil mountain bike trails in Coed Y Brenin, to riding the rapids at the National Whitewater Centre. Or chug along by steam aboard one of Snowdonia’s mountain railways.

Other places to visit include the Roman Museum of Segontium, Swallow Falls, the National Slate Museum, Electric Mountain, Llandudno Ski & Snowboard Centre, Bodnant Gardens; as well as a number of RSPB nature reserves and all kinds of family attractions.
