From the kinder Abergwynant Woods to the notorious 3000ft ascent up Snowdon Ranger Path – you won’t be hard pushed to find a great walk that suits here!Ā  More information:Ā http://www.visitsnowdonia.info/

Anglesey has many beaches that welcome dogs all year round. Youā€™ll find a full list of Angleseyā€™s dog-friendly beaches by visitingĀ thebeachguide.co.uk. Many of these beaches contain local cafes, which will offer your pet some doggy treats and give owners bags to clean up any mess.

TRAETH LIGWY close to the village of Moelfre, is one of the best beaches on the eastern side of Anglesey, a wide shady bay in a sheltered location, backed by farmland and scattered woodland. Anyone looking for peace and quiet will not be disappointed with the walk along the Coastal Path to the secluded cove of Traeth yr Ora and the broad tidal estuary of Traeth Dulas.

Dog Friendly Forest Walks on Anglesey
A visit to one of Angleseyā€™s forests could see you coming back with a few new sticks for your next game! With great selection of routes and paths, and stunning views, weā€™re sure youā€™ll love this one. Thereā€™s also a picnic area if all the excitement takes it out of you and your dog.

The Dingle (Nant Y Pandy) Nature Reserve, Anglesey has 25 acres of stunning woodland, river banks and gorges for our four legged friends to explore. For two legged visitors there are nature trails, sculptures and a poetry trail by a local poet. A large part of the nature reserve is made up beautiful oak, ash and wild cherry trees, and the whole area is a haven for wild flowers like bluebells and daffodils, not to mention a healthy wild bird population and if youā€™re lucky ā€“ lots of red squirrels! Dogs welcome in all areas.
