  • I take my family here every year. Weā€™ve stayed in many properties in Cemaes bay over the years but this is by far our favourite! The location is amazing and the views are awesome. This is the ultimate place to unwind. We are already looking forward to returning next year.

    July 2021

  • Great place, with fantastic views, overlooking the harbour. Kitted out well, with its own parking area.

    June 2021

  • This beautiful house on the harbour in Cemaes is unbeatable in every way. Location is perfect as is the standard in every room. I will definitely return.

    May 2021

  • Beautiful location in small town. No log burner in property but all else accurate. Property very comfortable with good level of mod cons and very nice good quality decor.

  • What a fantastic location and fabulous house. When I say house I actually mean home. We immediately felt at home and were welcomed by text and a basket of treats. Having en-suites to every room saved queues in the morning and the downstairs bedroom was ideal for our elderly Grandad. All the rooms were thoughtfully decorated and the kitchen was brilliantly stocked. We cooked at home mostly, however did venture into the Stag and the Hotel at the top of the hill. Both offered a warm welcome and good fare. The beach was fantastic for our dogs who are now sulking that we are home. The only criticism would be that the beds were very firm and would benefit from toppers and the corners of the foot of the double beds caused a few bruises. We would definitely book again.

  • A beautiful cottage in a beautiful place! This is the second time we have stayed here and we have already booked for next year. Everything you could wish for. The owners are very helpful and put a welcome pack at the cottage with all the essentials you need. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone, you will not be disappointed šŸ™‚

  • As six friends and keen walkers this property was perfect. Not only was it well equiped it was roomy and comfortable for 6 adults

    Jan 2019

  • We chose Ty Mawr with the needs of birdwatching, elderly relative in mind. The downstairs ensuite bedroom was perfect however grab handles in the shower would have been useful, and in the lounge perhaps a more traditional armchair. That being said this holiday home suited us very well, with no steps into the property and private parking. The upstair full window sea views take your breath away. A perfect location for the active holiday maker, with private access to the beach and in walking distance of an active high street. For a greater variety of sea birds, visit Cemlyn Bay and Red Wharf Bay.

  • We’ve been on our family holiday in Cemaes bay for a number of years now. We have stayed in some nice places but none has ticked all the boxes so far. Ty Lawr has finally done this. Lovely clean spacious cottage. Furnished to a very high spec. Can’t be closer to the sea! Greeted with a welcome pack with all essentials. We have had a wonderful stay and already booked for next year!
We look forward to our holiday there next year!

  • A lovely luxury Cottage in a spectacular position overlooking the harbour in Cemaes Bay.Highly recommended for large parties or families.

  • Lucky to stay here on a family holiday over new year. Very tastefully decorated, comfortable and high quality. Fantastic location overlooking the harbour, able to park three cars. Bedrooms all en suite with TVs in each room. Very spacious and easily accommodated eight people. A few things didnā€™t work including main oven and a bedroom radiator – we managed ok but could have been a problem. Maybe should include loo rolls as is high end accommodation. Great walks from the cottage.

    Dec 2017

“We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cottage and disappointing to hear you’d had these problems. We are always keen to make sure that all of our guests resolve any problems which is why we display our phone numbers in the book, and also send a text when you arrive. We could have fixed your problem really quickly! All is was is that the cooker clock was on zero (there must have been a power blip) which means the oven does not switch on until the clock is reset. It was a similar problem with the radiator – the thermometer on that particular radiator was at zero. It would have taken us two minutes to talk you through this over the phone. We would have been delighted to take your call. We knew everything was working as we had our Christmas dinner there the previous week!
We do leave loo rolls in each bathroom as standard. We will investigate what happened in this case.Ā
Thank you so much for your comments.”

  • 3 generations of our family stayed here over Easter we all loved it,right on the beach, walking distance to local shops, pubs cafes etc.
Coastal path in this area is stunning and there are some surprisingly good places to eat on Anglesey.
House very well-equipped and all bedrooms en-suite.
Cemaes Bay is a blue flag beach and very safe for young swimmers and bodyboarding although wet suits advisable at this time of year.we’ll go again

  • 3 generations of our family stayed here over Easter and we all loved it.Fabulous location right on thre harbour a minutes walk from the beach, pubs and useful shops. House very well equipped apart from no decent sharp knives for the cooks in our party and the boiler kept tripping out. However we loved it,the coastal walks were beautiful and we will all come back.

    May 2017

  • Review A long weekend for 3 couples. Plenty of space, well equipped, near the sea, and close the several pubs and a shop. All bedrooms en suite and all have a TV. We’ll be going back for a longer stay next time.

    Dec 2016

  • Everything was as it should be. Beautiful house overlooking the harbour. The weather was kind and there were plenty of places to visit but leaving the yard got more and more difficult …some excellent eating establishments ” The Lobster Pot ” in Church Bay and “Dylan’s ” in Menai and “The Boathouse” in red wharf bay to name but three. The owners had thought of everything( except a pair of kitchen scissors!!!). We will be back !!!!!

    June 2016

  • “Loved the position of the property, seeing the sea so close was really beautiful.
The property was decorated and furnished to a high standard. ”
