A beautiful cottage which is deceptively spacious, in an idyllic and very peaceful area. The cottage was very well equipped and clearly well looked after. Plenty of room for our family of four and two dogs. Dog friendly with a fairly secure garden (low front wall but does have a small completely secure fenced area too) and spare leads, bowls, etc. Cemaes Bay is a very quiet area with a beautiful sheltered beach, perfect for paddling, paddle boarding etc. Has everything we needed with a couple of shops, takeaway, chippy etc. The cottage is two minutes walk from the beach and coastal path, with a lovely sea view. Everything you need for a real getaway from it all break would highly recommend it.

What a fantastic little cottage, perfect location right next to the coastal path and just a few minutes walk to the 2 beaches. The cottage has everything you need and more and the welcome Prosecco, cakes, chocolates, butter and dog treats were such a lovely treat. Would highly recommend.

Love the location right on the Anglesey Coastal Path. Off-road parking right outside. Nice outdoor space with seating and table(s). Everything you need in the cottage including a washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher. Also an outside line for drying. Lovely views from an upstairs window. Nice touches like welcome wine and snacks and an honesty bar should you run out of wine. Easy walk to the local high street and the beach. This is the second time we’ve stayed here this year and will definitely go back.

Superb. This cottage was the most well-equipped property we have ever stayed in, literally thought of everything! Was a very quiet place with beautiful walks from the doorstep. Lovely garden. Could not have asked for more and we will definitely be back, did not want to leave!
-
Beautiful clean and comfortable cottage close to the beach and right by the coastal path. The owner obviously takes real pride in making your stay completely relaxing with lots of little thoughtful touches like the chilled prosecco awaiting your arrival. I hope to go back soon and will be recommending it to family and friends. Fabulous!

The cottage is ideally located for access to the coastal path and the view from the upstairs lounge is beautiful. The owners have made very good use of the space available especially the garden seating area. I canāt think of anything āmissingā from the equipment provided, the hot water bottles and blankets were a nice touch. Although the various heating units did seem to have a mind of their own and I think that having a fleece quilt cover in the downstairs bedroom was a mistake.

Nice quiet peaceful location but within walking distance to the main village. Right near a lovely beach and easy access to the Coastal path. All the things you need in a lovely cottage plus the host left us some goodies like wine, milk, crisps and biscuits. Nice outdoor space too. Parking outside the front door.

We had a lovely 2 week stay in Penrhyn Cottage during August 2020. It is very well appointed with everything we needed. There was a generous welcome pack waiting for us including a voucher for the local butchers in Cemaes, a bottle of wine and other goodies. The cottage was very clean and appropriate precautions to manage Covid risks were in place. We could walk out of the door and be on the Anglesey coast path in a couple of minutes which was great for both long and short walks. It was a short walk down into the village of Cemaes so we had the benefits of the village as well. The scenery in the area is stunning. Would recommend this as a place to stay.
-
We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The cottage is well and thoughtfully equipped and in a good location.. There is a pleasant view of the sea from the sitting room which is located upstairs. The downstairs is very compact and a little dark but we were staying in the autumn I’m sure during the summer months with the doors open it would be lighter and feel airy.. We would book Penrhyn again.

I originally was going on my own but my sister and niece joined me. The cottage was perfect it was ideally suited for dog walking and paddle boarding and exploring Anglesey. We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again, I would feel very comfortable staying there on my own. It is very well equipped and very cozy and beautifully furnished.

Penrhyn Cottage is cozy and welcoming and in a great location in Cemaes just yards from the coast path. The cottage had everything we needed – so many useful and thoughtful touches and some lovely local goodies when we arrived. The owner was extremely helpful and responded promptly to any queries – especially in the new circumstances after lockdown. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We loved our break at Penrhyn Cottage. Our small family consisted of 2 adults, our 9 year old daughter and 2 GoldenDoodles!
On arrival we found a wonderful welcome pack of goodies; welsh cakes, bottled water and even a chilled bottle of Prosecco (which went down really well!) and milk etc. There was a money off voucher for the local butchers and tea/coffee/sugar too.
All of this was very unexpected but very welcome!Everything has been provided in the cottage and the location is just superb. Cemaes village is just a few minutes walk away.
There’s a lovely sea view from the upstairs lounge and there are a pair of binoculars for you to use.

I was stuck and looking for a last min.com when a friend recommended Penrhyn cottage in Cemaes Bay on the lovely Island of Anglesey. Well, what a little gem it turned out to be. Myself and my trusty four legged companion called Be fell in love with this beautiful little cottage, with all its home comforts, comfy beds, great kitchen and all very clean and tidy.Ā The living room is a great chill room with views out to sea, binoculars and a telescope there for our use.Ā Theyāve thought of everything, even crockery for eating outdoors in fair weather.Ā Walks along the coast right from the door.During my stay we had really bad weather but the cottage was lovely and warm when we returned from Be’s walk around the bay. Theres great amenities a short walk, chipy, cafes, pub chemist etc.I Would recommend this cottage and come back again.
