The Isle of Anglesey offers so much for so many!
This blog features some great ideas for a weekend staying in an Anglesey self-catering cottage at Treaddur Bay, a destination famed for its watersports!
We’ve teamed up with our friends at Anglesey Outdoors to give those seeking a great outdoor weekend away a great time, with Coastal Holidays!
Firstly, we’ve based this trip idea on a great property that offers 3-night stays in Treaddur Bay.
Seaview, is a spectacular Anglesey holiday cottage where you can see the sea in ALL of its rooms, prices from £299.99-(May-mid July.)
Excellent stay in perfect location
Seaview Cottage is in an excellent location, Coastal Path on your door step was brilliant.
Our stay with the dogs was great -plenty of walking and exploring, and the area’s beaches were superb.
Anglesey has a very enviable outdoor activity base, and we’d like to show you in this blog some great activities to be enjoyed by all!
Day 1
Seaview
Arrive at Seaview, Check in, relax and start to un wind!
If you like a nice meal out then head to Catch 22 Brasserie, recently nominated as a ‘best local restaurant’ in The Good Food guide.
A menu that changes with the seasons with locally sourced ingredients it’s great food served in a modern & cosy setting.
Day 2,
Anglesey Outdoors – Coasteering.
The action starts! Head over to Anglesey Outdoors HQ, where you’ll be met by the friendly team.
Coasteering – A great new activity that combines the best of rock and water- based activities.
Make your way around the sea cliffs, scramble about on the rocks, jump into the sea from cliff ledges and explore sea caves, its great fun and often described as the best part of your trip to Anglesey.
After all the excitement, it’s off to enjoy lunch at the Paddlers Return, part of the Anglesey Outdoors complex.
After a refreshing lunch its time to head towards one of Anglesey’s most iconic landmarks, the South Stacks!
The afternoon will be spent along the Wales Coastal path and one of Anglesey’s iconic sites, South Stack Lighthouse.
One of the most attractive parts of the Anglesey Coastal Path. Stunning scenery finishing with the breath-taking South Stack lighthouse.
The walk is easy to moderate walk, 6.5 miles of coastal path with 400ft ascent at the end to the RSPB café
Leave your car at the end of the walk at South Stack Cliffs RSPB carpark and café.

After an action packed day, the rest of the evening can be spent relaxing and re-fueling ready for day 3!
Day 3,
Anglesey Outdoors – Kayaking. & South Stack Lighthouse.
After a leisurely breakfast and checking out of Seaview, its time to head back to Anglesey Outdoors HQ.
Today, its time to try your hand at kayaking. Really popular past time for many who like watersports this pursuit will allow you to see the coastline in a different light.
You’ll be able to sea lots of different wildlife en-route and explore sheltered bays, beaches and coves, a great way to spend the morning!
After a large lunch and shower time to head back home after a great week in Anglesey!
